Our backpacks are made from vegan leather (polyurethane) and fabrics from sustainable materials. Everything is carefully chosen to be kind to both children and the environment—free from animal products, PFAS, and other harmful chemicals.

Our backpacks come in two sizes: a smaller, more square-shaped model, and a slightly larger rectangular version with a bit more space. Both hold around 5 liters and weigh about 0.4 kg. They are designed for children aged 2–7, but thanks to the long, adjustable shoulder straps, they can also fit adults—perfect for parents or older siblings who want to carry a Drömpals friend on their back too! And then there’s Penguin Maxi, the little—or rather, big—wild card, since they’re a bit larger than all the other backpacks.

We normally fulfill your order within 2–4 business days. During holidays and special promotions, delivery may take a little longer. You will always receive a tracking link once your package leaves our warehouse. (For details, please refer to our shipping policy)

Of course! You have a 14-day return policy. The backpack should be unused and in its original condition. Just contact our customer service, and we’ll help you with a return or exchange. (For details, please refer to our Return & Exchange policy)

Yes. All our products are tested according to current safety requirements and do not contain any hazardous substances or removable small parts. Some bags have a removable part in the form of, for example, a fruit, but they are large enough to avoid the risk of them being suffocated. The products are completely free of PFAS, they have been tested by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden (report number O101023-1310975, dated 2025-03-21).

A good question that should be asked even more often! We work hard to ensure that all our products are kind to both children and nature. This includes conscious material choices such as vegan materials and that the bags are manufactured to have a long lifespan. The bags are also completely free of PFAS. * We continuously strive to become even better at developing our sustainability work and taking our responsibility throughout the entire production chain. * The products have been tested for PFAS by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden (report number O101023-1310975, dated 2025-03-21). RISE is Sweden's leading independent research and testing institute, and the analysis confirms that no PFAS substances have been deliberately added during manufacturing.
